Rising 3rd and 4th Grades

 

The first hour of these classes will enhance your child's reading skills and ensure they continue their love of learning and reading throughout the summer! Students will be assessed on their current level of reading so that appropriate texts can be used. Students will also pick literature and informational texts based on interest of the group, increasing literary knowledge.  After the first hour, we will use what we have read to incorporate math and science concepts through inquiry and adventure-based learning.

 

*Reading 3-D Skills will be implemented throughout each sessions to help your child on their Reading 3-D Assessment. Classes can be used in lieu of Read to Achieve Summer School Reading Camp. 

 

 

Sessions are available every Monday and Wednesday from June 30th - August 6th, at 10-12, 12-2, 2-4 (remediation specific), and 5-7

All sessions will be at The Greenway Trail across from the Armory. Storm location TBD. Snack will be provided with session.

Choose any or all sessions.  Every session will include different instructional activities.

$30/2 hour session a la carte

$25/2 hour session one week (2 sessions)

$20/2 hour session summer rate (6 sessions or more)
